As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving product success by understanding customer needs, defining requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your technical expertise and ability to influence decisions will help shape our product vision and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Common Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate advanced technical and functional knowledge in your discipline, understanding how it contributes to the business.

  • Serve as a reference for less experienced colleagues and support junior team members.

  • Influence decisions related to your activities, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios.

  • Contribute to transversal projects and propose process improvements while being accountable for your own and your team's commitments.

  • Work independently, following a plan set by your manager, with guidance on complex situations.

Specific Accountabilities:

Understand, Identify, and Define Customer Needs:

  • Transform high-level vision from the Product Manager into detailed requirements, collaborating with various stakeholders, including finance, security, operations, and support.

  • Consolidate business needs into new product concepts or upgrades and develop user stories or features for the team backlog.

Contribute to the Product Vision and Roadmap:

  • Define and continuously develop the product vision and business value in alignment with business owners, product managers, and agile teams.

Support Product Features Definition (Scoping):

  • Lead the definition and prioritization of features or user stories based on customer needs and market demands, with support from the Agile team.

  • Collaborate with architects and engineering to prioritize enabler work and sequence the architectural runway.

  • Ensure coherent prioritization and product alignment across teams, including business owners, UX, and other product groups.

Manage, Prioritize, and Communicate the Flow of Work:

  • Reprioritize features and user stories backlogs before each release and sprint planning session.

  • Maintain constant alignment and communication with agile counterparts and the leadership team.

  • Analyze requirements to ensure readiness for work, documenting and communicating changes to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate functionality builds, participating in ongoing testing efforts.

Participate in Agile Events:

  • Accept user stories before sprint reviews and actively engage in team coordination meetings and PO synchronization meetings.

  • Contribute to system demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops in a SAFe environment.

  • Actively participate in the Community of Practice for Product Owners and organize product demos.

Contribute to Product Promotion:

  • Communicate product value and define the value proposition.

  • Develop strategies as the product progresses through its lifecycle.

  • Collaborate on pilot plans with Product Marketing and other teams.

  • Create presentations, demo scripts, and sales tools to showcase product value.

  • Conduct presentations and demos for customers and customer-facing teams, supporting them in product launches.

  • Participate in preparing key events to ensure successful product launches and follow-ups.

  • Contribute to RFP/RFI processes for the product.
