- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop, communicate, and own the product vision for the Platform, ensuring alignment with Chubb's strategic objectives and the evolving needs of our engineering teams.
- Product Mindset: Foster a product-centric approach across the organization by prioritizing user experience, gathering customer feedback, and translating insights into actionable product features that improve engineering processes.
- Design Thinking: Employ design thinking principles to deeply understand user needs and pain points. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-centric solutions that enhance the developer experience and streamline interactions with the platform.
- Defining Outcomes: Establish clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that align with business goals, ensuring traceability from OKRs to feature delivery. Use these metrics to evaluate success and iterate on product features.
- Agile Delivery and Management: Drive Agile delivery practices within the Squad, ensuring timely and high-quality product increments. Collaborate effectively with Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, and development teams to optimize processes and facilitate PI Planning, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prioritization with Squads: Define and prioritize the Squad's backlog based on strategic objectives, user needs, and market demands. Work closely with engineering leaders to ensure alignment and focus on critical outcomes that drive value for our stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate open and ongoing communication with stakeholders, managing expectations regarding timelines and deliverables. Challenge the status quo by promoting innovative thinking and exploring new opportunities for technology utilization.
- Documentation and Traceability: Implement processes that maintain clear documentation and traceability from feature development back to defined OKRs and business objectives, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Market Insights: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the generative AI space, adjusting product strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 16+ years of experience in IT with at least 5+ years in Technology Product Management.
- Strong understanding of Gen AI technologies and staying updated with market trends and approaches.
- Proven track record in product management with a focus on AI or data-driven products, specifically within engineering domains.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within cross-functional agile teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and insights to drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals.
