Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to
oversee and manage key projects within our organization. This role requires an
individual who is skilled in Agile methodologies, team management, and client
communication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the
successful delivery of projects by leading cross-functional teams, ensuring
clear communication, and maintaining project momentum from initiation
through completion.
As a Project Manager, you will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders,
and clients to define project scope, manage timelines, and ensure the delivery
of high-quality solutions that meet business needs and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and Scope Projects: Define clear project goals, deliverables,
and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and internal teams.
Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure that they align with
the companyβs strategic objectives.
Agile Process Management: Lead the agile process, including sprint
planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and
retrospectives. Facilitate continuous improvement of development
processes.
Manage Scope and Changes: Effectively manage project scope and
handle scope changes by ensuring that they are properly documented,
analyzed, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Project Documentation: Oversee and maintain all project
documentation, including quotes, effort estimations, project plans, and
progress reports. Ensure proper documentation throughout the project
lifecycle.
Team Collaboration & Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams,
ensuring strong communication and collaboration across all
departments (development, product, quality assurance, and
operations) to meet project goals. Act as the primary point of contact
for both internal and external stakeholders.
Backlog and Task Management: Review and manage project
backlogs and in-progress items, ensuring that the latest work status is
captured and appropriately updated in the project management tools
(e.g., Jira).
Issue Resolution & Risk Management: Take ownership of resolving
blockers and issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Proactively
manage risks and coordinate resolutions across teams.
Deployment & Execution: Coordinate with the team to ensure
successful deployment preparations and executions, including post-
deployment monitoring and issue resolution.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain strong
relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure that project
progress, status, and challenges are communicated effectively
through regular updates, presentations, and meetings.
Performance Metrics: Collaborate with teams to define key
performance metrics for each phase of the project and ensure
deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Project Planning Tools: Leverage tools such as Jira, MS Office Suite
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Agile project management software to
ensure effective tracking, reporting, and communication of project
progress.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelorβs degree in Engineering (B.E./
B.Tech) or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in project
management, including at least 3 years of experience leading agile
projects and managing teams.
Agile Expertise: Proven experience working with Agile methodologies
(Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Comfortable with iterative processes and
sprints.
Leadership & Team Management: Experience in leading cross-
functional teams, managing diverse team members, and ensuring the
successful completion of complex projects. Strong ability to mentor
and motivate teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing and internal
communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage
stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Understanding: A solid understanding of technical/product
architecture and the ability to communicate complex technical
concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Tools Expertise: Proficient in using Agile project management tools
such as Jira, Trello, or Open Project. Familiarity with MS Project, Visio,
and all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical,
organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to address and
resolve issues quickly and effectively.
