Role Description
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
software project manager. The responsibilities of the software project manager
include overseeing software projects from start to finish, managing and
motivating software developers and other team members, giving management
presentations, and writing project proposals.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, scope, execution path, assumptions, risks, schedule, and resource needs.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize hands-on experience with API development.
- Project Tracking: Implement metric-based project tracking systems.
- Scope & Timeline Management: Oversee project scope and timelines effectively.
- Team Coordination: Lead sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
- Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage project and technical risks.
- Strategic Development: Develop project strategies and reliable technical solutions to meet requirements.
- Communication: Facilitate internal communication and collaboration.
- Change Implementation: Assist teams in implementing changes effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Required Experience/ Skillset
- Proven experience in stakeholder coordination for large-scale projects in India.
- Excellent written, spoken, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills for
- interacting with business stakeholders and government authorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Skills in client handling, stakeholder management, program management, and vendor management.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Planner).

Qualifications & Skills
Sustaining Engineering and Project Management experience with a proven track record of leading multi-site activities.
Strong product development background, having led or participated in projects from concept to production launch.
Technical acumen with an understanding of software and web applications.
Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a focus on metrics and incremental delivery.
Education/ Experience
Technical Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, IT, or Electronics).
Minimum of 1.5 years' experience in project or program management or application support.
